This process involves the manufacturer producing products which will be stocked on completion of them being produced. This means that the basis of production is done on the prediction of the market needs. The second category is the Make To Order (MTO). This form of manufacturing is based on whereby there is demand for a product through orders. This means that manufacturing can only be done when there is a ready market with known production units. The third classification is the Make To Assemble more commonly abbreviated as MTA. The assemble industry takes this form of manufacturing as units are produced on the basis that they will be used in with assemblers.
When it comes to manufacturing, it a collection of the various processes which makes it a complex affair. This means that by ensuring that these factors are in harmony with each other can the manufacturing company be successful in its production. Raw materials are the start point of any form of manufacturing. What this clarifies, is that in order for market orders to be satisfied, then a manufacturing company needs to have enough raw materials to meet the orders. One way that this can be made possible is by ensuring that the supply chain for the raw materials is maintained. This can be ensured by providing suitable transportation such that the factors like weather or distances do not hamper access to the materials needed for production.
One vital important thing that is a huge factor when it comes to manufacturing is the choice of equipment that is used by the manufacturer. By a manufacturer having the right machinery, it means that they are in a position to satisfy large market needs when they do arise. By having the right equipment need for manufacturing, then one benefit that is realized is efficiency. This in turns leads to the manufacturer excising quality control over their manufacturing process as just meeting demand is not sufficient.
